Upon his return, Pathak wasted no time, taking charge and immediately scheduling a review meeting with all officers for the following day, Saturday. His unexpected leave and return had led to rumors, including speculations about a possible resignation, but Minister Ashok Chaudhary clarified that Pathak is dedicated to Nitish Kumar's vision and would resume his duties after the leave.
